The deep orange flowers of this vine make a spectacular display in Winter and Spring. The flowers are clustered in dense panicles that appear to droop with their weight.
Flame Vines may be planted anywhere in the peninsula of Florida in irrigated landscapes, but are best where their flowers won't freeze in Winter. Pyrostegia venusta is a fast growing vigorous vine. Be careful to plant it where it has room to expand and plenty of sun for best blooming.
