Impatiens is a very large genus of annuals and perennials. They are best used to add color and form to shady and partially shaded areas. Their flowers come in every color except true blue and they bloom almost continually with brilliant color. In the case of New Guinea Impatiens, they often have striking, variegated leaves. Impatiens are widely grown as annual bedding plants in colder climates as well as in the tropics.
Plant them in shade, or if planted in full sun make sure that they receive plenty of water.
Choose flower colors from lavender blue, orange, pink, red, rose, salmon, violet, and white.
