8' height, 45 gallon pot - Acoelorrhaphe wrightii
Everglades Palm or Paurotis Palm is native to South Florida south of Lake Okeechobee. It can be found throughout the Caribbean region. It makes a tall accent or specimen for a range of scales. Although this palm eventually attains a height over 20' it is very slow growing and can be maintained at smaller size.
Everglades Palm as the name implies is a native of the Everglades and it prefers fertile moist locations. It grows in full sun or partial shade. It can be planted with success in most fertile irrigated landscapes except raised planters. It is somewhat salt tolerant so it is often seen somewhere back of the front line dunes.
Delivery is included in Broward, Miami-Dade, and southern Palm Beach Counties.
