3 gallon Pot - Juniperus chinensis 'Parsoni'
Parson's Juniper is a variety of Chinese Juniper that may be grown in South Florida. It's bluegreen color and rugged appearance make it a favorite where a northern look is desired. It's alpine appearance and tolerance of alkaline soils makes it an excellent plant when surrounded by masonry and stone.
Parsoni Grows best in full sun in well drained soil. Don't plant it where soils are not well-drained or it will decline from root rot. Parson's Juniper may be grown anywhere in Florida except perhaps southern Dade County and the Keys. This plant has high tolerance of drought, salt and alkaline soils. Plant 6" pots 18" on center and allow some time to fill in for best appearance.
