5' - 9' height, 25 gallon pot - Hyophorbe lagenicaulis
The swollen trunk and tightly arching fronds of the Bottle Palm give it an unusual appearance. Use it as an accent, as an architectural ornament, or focal point. Its small size between 15' and 25' permit this palm to be used at pedestrian and residential scale.
Bottle Palms may be grown south of Lake Okeechobee and further north along the coast. They are salt tolerant, but not drought tolerant. For best growth fertilize this palm with a fertilizer specifically formulated for palms at the rate of 3-4 times per year. Plant them in irrigated landscapes where an unusual accent is needed.
Delivery is included in Broward, Miami-Dade, an southern Palm Beach Counties.
