The massive trunk and stiff fan-like fronds make this palm a striking addition to tropical landscapes. Although it eventually attains a height of 40', its slow growth allows it to be used at a variety of scales. The trunk eventually resembles a massive concrete column. Bailey copernicia is usually available only in sizes less than 15' tall.
Baileys have few pests and diseases and thrive on a wide range of soils with little extra care.
