8' - 10' height, 25 gallon pot, contact us for larger sizes - Ficus rubiginosa
Rusty Fig seems to have all the virtues of the giant Ficus (Fig) species and none of the disadvantages. Its compact habit of growth and slower growth rate make it more suitable for confined urban spaces than other Ficus trees.
When planted in drier areas it seldom grows to greater than 40' with an equal spread. Under dry conditions it does not produce aerial roots and has an unbuttressed trunk with a dense compact crown of olive green leaves. A cinnamon to almost black colored trunk complements the color of the canopy.
Rusty Fig grows in full sun or partial shade on a wide range of well-drained soils and is highly drought tolerant.
Delivery is included in Broward, Miami-Dade, and southern Palm Beach Counties.
