Agaves are an excellent accent in designs with a southwestern theme, but may also be used with Florida natives where a dry look is desired. Spineless Century Plant has a softer, more tropical look than some other Agaves, therefore, if may also be used in landscapes having more of a tropical or jungle look.
In Florida they need little or no care and thrive in well-drained soil on rainfall alone. Spineless Century Plants do best, however, in ferile irrigated landscapes.
Unlike most Agaves, Spineless Century Plants thrive in partial shade as well as full sun. Plant it as a specimen. It will attain a spread of 6' or more.
