Weight: 3.0 lbs
The best variety of Variegated Liriope is Variegated Giant Liriope sometimes called Aztec Grass. As the name, Aztec Grass, implies, the yellow green color and grassy form of this plant can be used in garden designs compatible with the southwestern look. Like most Liriopes the plant may be grown in sun or shade, hence, it has great utility in creating unity throughout the landscape. Variegated Liriope is a low growing groundcover with a height of 12" - 18". It is much used for its low height, neat edge and general ease of maintenance. Plant gallon plants 12" on center for best results.
Variegated Liriope can be grown in a wide range of well-drained soils in irrigated landscapes in nearly all of Florida. It is quite drought tolerant when established. Shear them back in early spring before new growth so that you enjoy a flush of new growth for the rest of the year.
