Few palms are as beautiful as a multi-trunked Senegal Date Palm when its trunks are thinned. The gracefully curving form of the trunks combines with the stiff feather-like leaves to conjure images of the tropical river banks of its native Africa. Its uses have ranged from a large upper level accent at large scale entries to a large hedge or screen when maintained without pruning.
Senegal Date Palm grows in nearly any irrigated landscape in Florida. They grow to about 30' in height with equal or greater spread so be careful to plant them where there is sufficient room. Be sure to fertilize them regularly with palm fertilizer.
Delivery is included in Broward, Miami-Dade, and southern Palm Beach Counties.
