8' -12' height, 25 gallon pot - Plumeria species
The beauty and fragrance of the flowers of Plumeria or Fangipani are indispensable tools for any tropical gardener. There are a number of species and numerous cultivars of the Plumeria genus, but most share a candelabra or umbrella like form with large leafed tropical foliage floating above clusters of thick stems. Opinion is divided on the desirability of the form of these trees, but you cannot go wrong with Plumeria as an upper level background plant where its flowers and fragrance can come to the fore at the appropriate time. Where the form can be appreciated Plumeria can be used as a specimen or patio tree reaching 25' in height in frost protected locations.
Plumeria can be grown south of Palm Beach County and should be protected from frost. Plants will grow easily in any well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade.
Delivery is included in Broward, Miami-Dade, and southern Palm Beach Counties.
