Use this plant wherever a large splash of red to bronze color is desired. Copperleaf has a dense growth habit creating a rounded shape when occasional pruning is provided. The plant can reach 10' -15' in height for a large accent of red color. Copperleaf has also been used in large-scale plantings such as highway landscaping where it can be massed to create a large-scale color contrast with the gray colors of the highway. It is occasionally used as a hedge.
Grow Copper Leaf in full sun in locations that do not go below 30 degrees. It does best when planted in an irrigated landscape although it is somewhat drought tolerant.
