Lady Palm makes an excellent close-up specimen where the details of its form can be fully seen. It can be shaped by removing some of its trunks so that its clustering form reveals the graceful form of its trunk and foliage and to better show off its silhouette. It also makes an excellent indoor palm and thrives with only a bright indoor light.
Outdoors plant Lady Palm nearly anywhere in the peninsula of Florida in deep to partial shade including the north side foundation planting for any building. Give it fertile well drained soil.
