10" Pot, 30" height - Nerium oleander
Weight: 10.0 lbs
Nerium oleander is one of that select group of plants that can be planted without irrigation in the most low maintenance of locations. We have used this plant in many streetscape plantings where after initial planting no care is given to the plants.
Oleander has various uses ranging from low hedges for dwarf varieties to tall screens and small trees for taller varieties. Oleander flowers prolifically in a variety of colors and some varieties will flower nearly all year. It can be grown throughout the peninsula of Florida.
Plant them in nearly any well drained soil in full sun. They are not only drought tolerant, but salt tolerant and so are very popular for seaside planting.
Except for the Oleander Caterpillar and the unwanted suckers that sprout from the base of standards, little care is needed. With even a yearly fertilization and light pruning they can be maintained at their best.
Delivery is free in Broward, Miami-Dade, and southern Palm Beach counties.
