Coconut Palm is the universal symbol of the tropics. It has spread from its original base near Southeast Asia to nearly all the tropical and subtropical regions of the earth. Its large graceful form and ease of transplant make this palm a favorite of the landscape industry in Florida.
We select varieties which are resistant to lethal yellow disease. You should not plant any Coconut which does not come from seed which is certified to be from a lethal yellow resistant variety.
All Coconut Palms can be planted near the ocean. Although they do not like wet feet, they grow best close to a source of water, even salt water. Young palms can grow in shade, but they will eventually need full sun for best growth. You can grow Coconuts on soils ranging from clay to sand and they respond well to palm fertilizer.
Delivery is included in Broward, Miami-Dade, and southern Palm Beach Counties.
