10" Pot - Spathoglottis plicata
Ground Orchid is a low-growing, clumping herb whose leaves resemble young palms. The plants are stemless and the frondlike leaves gracefully sway with the slightest wind unrestrained by their delicate petioles. Plant them with other low-level tropicals such as ferns, impatiens, and begonias. The frond-like foliage is accented by delicate flowers.
Gound Orchid can be grown south of Lake Okeechobee in well drained and regularly irrigated landscapes.
