Crinum Lilies are used as a large durable upper level accent in massed plantings. Green Crinums are the most popular but the color of Purple Crinum adds year round color to the landscape. The large lily-like flowers bloom nearly year round.
Crinums grow best in soils that are moderately moist but tolerate dry conditions. Crinum Lilies can be grown near the ocean provided that they are protected from direct salt spray.
