Queen Sago is perhaps the most beautiful cycad. Its gently arching fronds appear soft reminiscent of the feather leaf palms and unlike other cycads. Its large size for a cycad and graceful appearance are the origin of its name "Queen Sago Palm." Queen Sagos grow to 10' in height with equal spread. Use them as upper level accents in massed plantings or as a small scale specimen.
Queen Sagos grow in full sun or shade in most irrigated landscapes. Fertilize them 4 times a year with palm fertilizer for best growth.
