25 gallon pot, 8' - 11' height - Neodypsis decaryi
The Triangle Palm is named for its unique growth habit and triangular cros section. The arching blue or gray tinged fronds arise from the gray leaf bases and a dark trunk with gray rings. The triangle palm resembles a formal fountain of fronds creating an unusual specimen or accent palm.
Grow Triangle Palm in full sun or partial shade south of Palm Beach County and further north near the coast. Be careful not to plant this palm close to the ocean, however, due to its low salt tolerance. Triangle Palm does best in fertile, well drained, irrigated landscapes, but it can survive the hot, dry, windy conditions of parking lots and other harsh urban environments.
Delivery is free in Broward, Miami-Dade, and southern Palm Beach Counties.
